10 Largest Universities in the United States

If you are enrolled at colleges in U.S. there are so many new terms you will have to learn and also find what that means. Once such term is census date. Usually, it’s 21st day after college starts. Some schools dates vary. That’s the official date when number of students enrolled will be counted. They use that calculation for requesting fund from the University System or from State for the coming academic year.

This list of largest United States university campuses by enrollment includes only individual four-year campuses, not four-year universities. Universities can have multiple campuses with a single administration. Enrollment numbers listed are the sum of undergraduate and graduate students at a single campus as of the 21st day of the academic year. These numbers should match the enrollment numbers that are reported to the US Department of Education as part of the Common Data Set program.
